The Digital Single Market

On 6 May 2015, the European Commission published its Digital Single Market strategy, which consists of 16 initiatives to be proposed by the end of 2016 with the aim of creating a solid and consistent set of rules for all European Member States.

Developers represent a variety of realities and will benefit greatly from a coherent set of digital rules across the EU. Regardless of their size, location and the products they offer, every developer needs strong policies that boost innovation, increase financing opportunities and enable easy access to markets.

The Alliance and its membership support the completion of the Digital Single Market and will keep collaborating with the European Institutions in order to allow the app economy to continue to grow and flourish.
